Welcome to my website. Really the list on the right pretty-much says it all. You will find articles about my favorite subjects on my blog which I post to at about one article per month. I hope to increase the rate of my musings over time, until I post an article per week. I derive great pleasure in helping others, so you will find that the blog tends to be instructional in nature. I tend to keep my opinions away from my blog because the internet is rife with trolling slander where people vent their frustrations in inappropriate ways, digressing to logical fallacies and idiotic anecdotes as though they actually support anything. I love to learn new things and share with others, and I hope that you find my material to be helpful and informative.

I have been spending most of my time lately, brushing up on my skills. The more technical knowledge that I possess has a shelf-life of about 10 years if it is not refreshed, periodically. Lately I have been working on an Internet Relay Chat ‘bot’ implemented in Ruby based on Isaac, and working on my website building skills. These are exciting times for the web, but I resist the temptation of using features merely because they exist. The early web was made obnoxious with blinking text because of this way of doing things.

When I am not doing technical things, I fill my time, working in the garden, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or playing the euphonium with the Brushy Creek Brass Band, or Band of the Hills.
